Development of the UK eAIP has been conducted by NATS and subject to regulatory oversight and approval by the CAA will become available on Thursday 13th December 2012.

The publication of the eAIP will introduce some changes to presentation and the layout of information and data and it should be noted that this first phase of the eAIP implementation will focus on textual data and information, while aeronautical charts will be addressed at a later date.  On publication of the eAIP, all existing Supplements to the AIP and AICs will remain in place and will not be re-issued. However, users will observe minor changes to the headings on the first page of all new Supplements and AICs.

The eAIP will be available on a DVD, as a printable document and available on the NATS AIS website. Notification of publication of the new AIP will be confirmed by NOTAM.
