The headline in the Trevor Roche obituary which alluded to the cause of his tragic accident being an engine failure shortly after take-off was incorrect and inappropriate and was based on unsubstantiated comments. The circumstances of the accident remain under investigation by the AAIB and until their report is issued no comment on the cause of the accident should have been made.
