Briefing Room is intended as a one stop shop to provide members with flight briefing information, or the means to find that information. There is a plethora of websites dedicated to weather, NOTAM and general route planning, not just in the UK but worldwide, and we want to bring you the information about those sites, and Apps, so that you can build your own briefing portfolio which best suits the type of flying you undertake.
The ‘room’ is subdivided into sections – Weather; NOTAM; Flight Planning; General Information; etc and we want to build the site based on recommendations from you. If you have found a good site or App that works for you then please share the information via Briefing Room. Likewise if you discover an interesting place to visit with a handy airfield or strip nearby, or know that the bus stop to get into town is just 200 yards up the road, or enjoy a comfy B&B or a pub lunch close to a strip – all those little niceties that can add significantly to the pleasure we can all gain from our flying.
