Dunkeswell Regional Rally

 

Our Regional Rally at Dunkeswell over the weekend of the 31 May – 1 June, was hosted in conjunction with Devon and Somerset Flight Training. Despite some challenging weather conditions during the weekend in other parts of the country, over 200 aircraft attended the event, many staying overnight and enjoying social evenings on the Friday and Saturday.

 

 

As expected, there was a great variety of aircraft present, spanning homebuilt, vintage and some of the newer state-of-the-art production aircraft. There were also a number of traders and exhibitors that stimulated the interests of those attending as well as the Youth Build-a-Plane project, “Spirit of Devon Youth”, and the new-look Light Aircraft Association stand and shop.

 

 

Many thanks to all the volunteers involved with booking-in, marshalling, gate guardians, Scout fund raising or DSFT staff, who contributed to making the weekend so successful.
