Arrangements continue for the Sywell Revival Rally this coming 5th and 6th September.

The following information might be helpful:

Airside access:

Sywell are making airside arrangements, providing free, albeit escorted access to all. Whilst this might not meet everyone’s expectations, it does meet modern Health and Safety regulations and ensures public safety which must remain a priority.

Slot booking arrangements for visiting aircraft:

We have had several enquiries regarding the slot booking system. This is in place to assist Sywell and arriving aircraft to spread the load and minimise risk. Sywell are taking a flexible approach and it’s unlikely anyone will be turned away within 30 minutess of their allotted slot.

It has worked very successfully at Sywell in the past, so is proven. The earlier you book, the more likely you are to find a suitable time.

Camping:

Pilots are welcome to camp by their aircraft and the Sywell public car park will be available for those bringing caravans, or wanting to camp. In line with the ‘back to basics’ ethos of this event, there will be no facilities provided, but no charge either.

With a £5 per head entry charge, the Sywell Revival could be one of the best AND cheapest events of the year.

We look forward to meeting you there.
